SALON COVID POLICIES


PLEASE READ THIS IF YOU ARE ATTENDING AN APPOINTMENT

Hello, you!
Long time and no see. We are SO excited to see you, and we bet you and your hair is just as thrilled to see us!

Before you come to your long over due and well deserved appointment, please take your time to read the following policies that are strictly in place due to the COVID-19 outbreak and our salon COVID SAFE plan.

ON ARRIVAL
Please do not enter the salon early unless you have been instructed to by a member of staff.

You are not permitted to bring anyone other than yourself, unless you are arriving with someone who has an appointment at the exact same time.
If you need to bring a dependant, please contact us 2 business days before hand.

Please refrain from walking past the reception area until a member of staff has temperature checked you.
IF YOUR TEMPERATURE IS 37.7+ YOU WILL BE ASKED TO SIT OUTSIDE FOR 5 MINUTES AND RE-TESTED. IF A TEMPERATURE STILL PERSISTS YOUR APPOINTMENT WILL BE CANCELLED.

Please use hand sanitiser provided and restrain from touching unnecessary objects in the salon.

IF YOU OR ANYONE IN YOUR BUBBLE ARE UNWELL
If you or someone in your chosen bubble are unwell or experiencing any of the following symptoms:
- Sore Throat
- Congestion
- Fever / Chills
- Sneezing
- Runny Nose
- Headache
- Coughing

Please reschedule your appointment.
Failure to do this before you arrive will see you being charged 50% of your total appointment bill.
MASKS MUST BE WORN 
You must wear a mask that meets the Victorian mask requirements.

Your mask must be worn at all times in the salon, and it may be shifted to eat / drink but it must be placed back into position.

Please ensure your mask is secured around the ear, and not around your head as we need access to your hair.

Please wear a mask you feel comfortable getting colour and hair on and making sure your mask can tolerate being wet.

We will not be providing masks, your mask is your responsibility and Beyond Blonde takes no responsibility for damaged masks.

IF YOU HAVE A CLEARANCE FROM WEARING A MASK, PLEASE NOTIFY STAFF BEFORE YOU ARRIVE.
KEEP YOUR DISTANCE
Please refrain from moving from your designated seat while your service is in place, unless its to use the bathroom, to get fresh air or to be assisted to the basin area.
Communication with other salon clients is welcome however, Victorian social distancing practices remain.
PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN READING MATERIAL.
WI-FI PASSWORD CAN BE SUPPLIED
PLEASE BE ENCOURAGED TO BRING YOUR OWN BEVERAGE
CHECKING OUT
Cash, Eftpos, Afterpay and ZipPay are all still fully available. 
We will ensure all appliances are sanitised after each use and cash transactions will be contactless.

ON DEPARTURE
Please use the hand sanitiser provided to disinfect your hands before touching our doors and exiting.

WHAT WILL BEYOND BLONDE BE DOING TO HELP STOP THE SPREAD?
- All staff will be wearing masks at all times.
- All staff are temperature checked multiple times a day.
- All staff have been trained in sanitisation and infection control.
- All furniture and objects will be disinfected after each use from each person.
- Single person use towels and wraps (This was always a policy)
- Chairs have been removed to maintain 1.5m between clients.
- All magazines have been removed.
- Disposable cups only will be used.
- A maximum of 17 patrons only can enter at any time, while maintaining social distancing measures.
